What is happening next
We wish we knew! LOL Truely only the Lord knows what's next for Cuba! We believe it can only get better and it's hard ro imagine it getting worse for the Cuban people. The church in Cuba is continuing to grow in many ways which is an amazing anomoly. Our prayer is that these difficulties will only make the church stronger. The first time I ever went to Cuba I was so amazed at how even little children didn't flinch or stop for two seconds, but continued singing Father Abraham (joyfully with all the movements) when the lights went out in Santiago de Cuba in 1995. They've had a power outage issue for a very long time. Just three years earlier than that they were eating things you would never think a human would ever eat just to survive. It was called the “special period”. Not sure what they call it now. There's nothing special about communism or socialism or any forms of atheism. They all stink and they've all failed miserably, and rightly so. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 Atheism is a sin. As soon as we can we plan to go back. For now the money that's donated for our mission work will be sent without us which is actually quite efficient. The church sanctuary that was made out of someone's home down the street, and that you all helped us to buy is already being used now, and much needed help was sent to each pastor. Also, the milk cow that we purchased last time we were there had a calf. God has answered a contunual prayer we've had for thirty years that He would send Cubans all around the world to bring the gospel to other Spanish speakers.
Pray and see what God wants you to do. Go, send and/or pray. I sure hope He calls you to do one or more of these. Brethren, please share this site with friends who might be interested too (Promise we won't send tons of updates or pleas like the political parties and many other Christian ministries do). With a greater involvement of the body of Christ He will do greater things surely. We have seen Him “do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think” Ep.3:20
Please pray for God to touch hearts, both ours and theirs. That God would have His way in every Cuban fellowship there.

Welcome
We have been going on short term ( 1 week to one month a year) missions since 2015. We started in 1995 with Cuba (22 times so far), but also have served 4 times to Mexico, twice to Haiti, one time each to El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic. We have served on the worship teams of several churches and helped plant a few churches too. Terri and I have been in service of our King Jesus for 40+ years. He has never failed us and done far more than we ever thought possible.
We have a passion for the truth and commitment to the body of Christ. We have been associated with Calvary Chapels 42 years and work with many other groups that have the same heart to simply serve with the national pastors and co-laborers in Jesus already established or being planted. We seek to obey the great commission of Jesus to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit until we receive power from God to be witness' first in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the world. (Acts 1:8) Making disciples, baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Teaching them to obey ALL that Jesus has commanded us and He is with us. (Matthew 28:19-20) This, for us, means, it is all about relationship with God through Jesus and relationships with people, that the total perfection and inerrancy of the entire bible is very important, that prophecy matters and that His Holy Spirit is necessary for ministry. Since these are the last days we know that the Whore of Babylon (Rev.17-18) must be identified and exposed. That any false Jesus' cannot save and must be exposed. That God does not beg for money or have to heal us just because we have faith as well as many other very important , but neglected "ALL things" that Jesus commands us in His Word. Cuba is our ‘Samaria’ for us in Texas. We serve there through teaching, music ministry and practical helps ministries as God has gifted us there on the foreign field as we also do at our home church Calvary Chapel Tyler for 20 years.
