WE BELIEVE worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, we put great emphasis upon the teaching of ALL of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped. No verse overlooked.
WE BELIEVE worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love (not Hollywood) in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshiping Him.
WE BELIEVE worship of God should be unified. Therefore we promote all the fundamental doctrines of Biblical Christianity which is one church though many distinct parts of Jesus' one body.
WE BELIEVE in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. In the original autographs there are no scientific, anthropological, historical mistakes or errors at all. The scriptures we have though not originals are supported by 33,000 copies that show agreement from various languages and parts of the world. Textus Receptus or King James still being one of the best English versions however we are not KJV only. There are many mathmatically scientific proofs that the all time best seller and most reprinted book ever is way far beyond any human authorship.
WE BELIEVE that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things both seen and unseen as well. Therefore a real relationship with Him is necessary for eternal life. The trinity is a doctrine supported by many scriptures and to deny it is a sin.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was Creating all things with God the Father, appeared as the Angel of the Lord, Is the Lord of Hosts that fought the battle of Jericho, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. Jesus will personally catch all believers of the church age up to heaven before the 70th week of Daniel can begin. King Jesus will return with His Church to rule for a literal 1000 years before we enter the eternal state.
WE BELIEVE that after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to wait and then be His witnesses in the entire world, a responsibility shared by all believers today.
WE BELIEVE that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person believes in/on Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately conceived and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God.
WE BELIEVE in the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures, that all are still used for today but should be exercised within the Scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without his love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
WE BELIEVE that the church government should be simplistic rather than a complex bureaucracy and we depend on the Holy Spirit to lead rather than on fleshly promotion or popular vote.
WE AWAIT the pre-tribulation rapture of the church alluded to above, and we believe that the second coming of Christ with His saints to rule on earth will be personal, Pre-tribulational, pre-millennial, and visible. This hopeful waiting motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God's Word, regular fellowship, evangelism, participation in adult baptism by immersion and Holy Communion.
WE SEEK to teach the whole of the Word of God in such a way that its message can be applied to an individual's life, leading that person to greater maturity in Christ and His mission.
WE REJECT (1) The belief that the true Christians can be demon possessed; (2) "Five point Calvinism" (i.e., a fatalistic Calvinistic view that leaves no room for free will; specifically, we reject the belief that Jesus' atonement was limited, instead we believe that He died for all people, and we reject the assertion that God's wooing grace cannot be resisted or that He has elected some people to go to hell; instead we believe that anyone who wills to come to Christ may do so); (3) "positive confession" (the “faith” movement belief that God can be commanded to heal or work miracles according to man's timing), (4) human prophecy that supersedes the Scripture, (5) the incorporation of humanistic and secular psychology and philosophy into Biblical teaching, and (6) the over-emphasis of spiritual gifts or experiential signs and wonders. (7) We reject the social gospel that puts material benevolence or socialism ahead of obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ. (8) Worldly ecumenism that seeks to unite all faiths such as Catholicism does. ALL these things are characteristics of the Whore of Babylon warned against in Rev 17-18.
WE BELIEVE our God is a missionary God. He wants to be known in the eyes of many nations. Over 77 times in the book of Ezekiel in various ways God says,
"Thus will I magnify myself and sanctify myself and I will be known in the eyes of many nations and they shall know that I am the Lord."
WE BELIEVE all Christians are to be sending or going into missions.
WE BELIEVE pointing to fulfillment of bible prophecy is an important part of what God wants us to use in winning the nations. Therefore we are to use it in our preaching, teaching and evangelism just as did Jesus and the apostles. Prophecy is one third of the bible, therefore is very important part of evangelism.
WE BELIEVE recent literal six day creation of all that is Time Space Matter and Energy by God the Father , Son and Holy Spirit is very essential doctrine and foundational to all the rest of it.
WE BELIEVE LOVE IS GOD and GOD is love. He alone is perfect in His love. WE LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US>
